GG.BET Beijing Invitational team list revealed

GG.BET and Maincast have revealed the complete team list for their upcoming invitational tournament, which will act as a qualifier for IEM Beijing.

The online tournament will kick off on September 16 and follow the same structure of previous GG.BET Invitationals, with a spot at the ESL event going to the winner and $5,000 to the runner-up as a consolation prize.

Joining the previously-invited duo of G2 and HEROIC are Polish side One More Time, who came through the open qualifiers, and five renowned European teams, most notably MOUZ, who sit in eighth place in the rankings after almost making the playoffs at the recent StarLadder Major.

The GG.BET Beijing Invitational will begin with a double-elimination group stage, featuring best-of-three series after the first round of matches. The top two sides from both groups will secure spots in the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.

The winner of the tournament will secure entry into IEM Beijing, which will take place from November 7-10 and have $250,000 at stake. Liquid and Astralis are the first two teams confirmed for the event, with three more invites left to announce and two Asian teams due to be determined by local qualifiers.
